From One Believer To Another

From One Believer To Another

If this is your first time visiting this blog, “Welcome!”

As you read, I pray you’ll not see me as being angry at anyone. Firm at times with some, I’ll agree with that. I know that no matter what a person has gone through, things they’ve said or done, or still doing for that matter, there’s a 50/50 chance of my having sought forgiveness for doing the exact same thing at one time or another. I know the battle is not against flesh and blood my friend.

Throughout this blog you will find me quoting things heard on the radio. You’ll not find the names of those who said these things in the posts. I do document their names, the date, time, and radio station call sign on my copy of the original document. I do not publish these details because our mission should be to expose the false teachings not to personally attack the person.

If you should continue reading my friend, you will find the Anthanasian Creed being exposed for what it is, a false doctrine. The word of God having the final say. My trusting in He who knows hears and sees all things, the God of the [Bible].

The person that’s confessing Jesus is the Son of God, the Lord and the Savior of their life, according to the [Scriptures] mind you, has absolutely nothing to fear. Jesus died on a cross for the sin of the world, and He’s now working on their behalf.

More is not Necessarily Merrier

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.” Apostle Saul (who is also called Paul), Ephesians 1:3 (NKJV)

If this is your first time visiting this blog, “Welcome!”

In the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.

I heard, are you ready for this, “There’s a new version of the bible released every day”.  If this gentleman (on television) would have said [study] bibles instead, there’d be a better chance of my believing it.  He wasn’t talking about study bibles.  To tell you the truth, I don’t know if it’s true or not.  Knowing this man has been “preaching” for over fifty years, it’s still hard to believe.

He then went on to speak of “Fundamental Christianity,” and the five rules that are too be followed.  Something about a meeting that took place in 1924.  They weren’t happy with what pastors were teaching at the time, something had to be done.  By whom I don’t know.  No names were mentioned.

Of the “five” things a person must believe in order to be, according to that which took place in 1924, “Fundamental Christians,” only two were mentioned.

1)      Jesus is God in the flesh
2)      The virgin birth
3)      ?
4)      ?
5)      ?

I’m confident with saying those present that day left out the most important thing, the one thing they should have considered in the first place, the word of God having the [final] say.  “Jesus is God in the flesh” doesn’t have a chance of passing any [Biblical] test of it being so.  With the word of God having the [final] say in 1924, better yet 325-AD, “Jesus is God in the flesh” wouldn’t have made it this far.  Which leads me to believe the Anthanasian Creed had something, if not everything to do with that meeting in 1924.  Not with the “virgin birth” mind you, unlike “Jesus is God in the flesh” there’s plenty of [Biblical] evidence of it being so.

Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.” John 14:10 (NKJV)

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV)

Any questions as to who’s dwelling in Yeshua in John 14:10.  John 20:17 clearly establishes it not only being Yeshua’s brethren’s God and Father, but Yeshua’s God and Father too.  “The Father,” dwelling in Yeshua in John 14:10, is God.  Yeshua’s God and, Father.  This is not my idea, its right there for all to see.  No need for any interpretation of it either, John 14:10 and 20:17 are crystal clear as is.
  • Saying God was [with] Jesus, has a 100% chance of passing the test.  As will it being God dwelling in Jesus while Jesus was in the flesh.

Talk about new versions of the bible being released every day.  How about doctrines?

Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me.” John 7:16 (NKJV)

It would be safe to say having more than one doctrine could be dangerous.  Not that having more is a problem, it’s who’s signing those others off as being [Biblically] correct is where the danger lies.  Unfortunately, the direct result of the selection process being in the wrong hands, there is more of them than we know.  Doctrines.  There had to be a lengthy period of time, and on a daily basis, I’m sure, when at least one doctrine was released.  Speaking of those earthly institutions called “church,” the differences between them, what’s behind them?  Doctrines.

With man believing they’re the measure of all things, doctrinal statements become guidelines.  What they failed to see, God’s being the only one that matters, and keeps theirs hanging in the balance.  Since there’s many doctrines already in place, and just as many differences between them, those clinging to them know exactly who I’m talking to here, how about looking to see who’s behind them all.  Just a thought.

I know of one that’s safe.  Good to go so to speak.  The one Messiah Yeshua spoke of in John 7:16.  The same one He said wasn’t His to begin with.  God’s.  I also know keeping [it] in its proper place, having the final say, is the key to all things.  Bar none.

The next time a person looks to create another doctrine, study bible, or a new version of the bible for that matter, they’ll need to position themselves properly before advancing to the next step.  Placing the word of God at the top of the list is the only way to start.  Choosing not to have the [final] say is the best place to be.

God bless.
In His Care…Jim
