From One Believer To Another

From One Believer to Another

If this is your first time visiting this blog, “Welcome!”

As you read, I pray you’ll not see me as being angry at anyone. Firm at times with some, I’ll agree with that. I know that no matter what a person has gone through, things they’ve said or done, or still doing for that matter, there’s a 50/50 chance of my having sought forgiveness for doing the exact same thing at one time or another. I know the battle is not against flesh and blood my friend.

Throughout this blog you will find me quoting things heard on the radio. You’ll not find the names of those who said these things in the posts. I do document their names, the date, time, and radio station call sign on my copy of the original document. I do not publish these details because our mission should be to expose the false teachings not to personally attack the person.

If you should continue reading my friend, you will find the Anthanasian Creed being exposed for what it is, a false doctrine. The word of God having the final say. My trusting in He who knows hears and sees all things, the God of the [Bible].

Not Optional

Believing whether or not Jesus ascended to His God and Father is not optional. It’s a fact! The Biblical evidence of Jesus ascending to His God and Father justifies staying clear of the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God.” Jesus said, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God” in John 20:17 (NKJV). Look No Further Than Jesus's Accomplishments

My aim it to get people to consider reading the Bible for themselves, and to seek God’s understanding of it and not mine or anyone else’s, if they choose to do so. I can’t begin to fathom the fullness of God’s purpose/plan for my life, let alone get others to fathom theirs. I do know that being right by the Scriptures, is to put all things in God’s hands. I won’t be swayed by things people say, think, and do but, for my reactions towards them, I will be held accountable. Teaching something as true, that is according to the Scriptures, means not going beyond what the Scriptures actually say. When quoting Scripture you can actually say, “it is written.” Not so, when quoting something written by those not mentioned in the Bible, especially when it concerns what one must believe in order to be saved according to the Scriptures. The person teaching unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved” as true, should already know that “the Son is God” only came to exist with the Anthanasian Creed. What they fail to see is one’s salvation does not depend upon the events that took place in AD 325, when “the Son is God” was actually birthed. Which would you say offers the only way to salvation, the Biblical account of who Jesus is, “it is written,” or the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God?” For the one considering reading the Bible, looking to find the answer to the question for themselves, don’t go beyond what the Scriptures actually say. When it comes to what one must believe in order to be saved according to the Scriptures, look no further than Jesus’s accomplishments in the first century, as laid out for us in the Bible. God bless. All Scripture Is Given By Inspiration Of God

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16—17 (NKJV) When Jesus speaks of ascending to His God and Father in John 20:17 (NKJV), He’s not clinging to His brethren’s views of what should happen next but His Fathers. As far as they knew back then, Jesus was crucified and buried in a tomb. The now risen Christ Jesus is sending Mary Magdalene to His brethren to say to them, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God” in John 20:17. I can safely say, nothing has changed since. “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God” including Jesus’s death, burial, resurrection and ascension into heaven. They are not based on Jesus’s brethren’s views/understandings of these events. Jesus’s brethren, believers back then, and now, are followers of Christ Jesus. God bless. In His Care… Jim

"Yes" To The John 20:17 Question

I sent the John 20:17 question to someone and I received from them: “This is Pastor ____from ________. Thank you for the good question. The answer is Yes!” I replied to him with: ‘Hi Pastor____, I pray all is well with you and yours. Thanks for the response. I really do appreciate it. I was happy to read your response “yes,” because it’s absolutely Biblically correct. I would say Jesus’s God and Father and my God and Father are one and the same. Taking Jesus at His word, in this case in John 20:17, will always be the Biblically correct thing to do. Jesus ascended to His God and Father, and it’s Biblically impossible to prove otherwise. So, thanks again for the response. I’ll be looking forward to hearing back from you again. God bless. In His Care… Jim’

The Bible Is Faultless

Some treat the Bible as being subject to the doctrines of men, up for grabs if you will, in order to keep their false teachings up and running. Case in point, unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved” is false, and supersedes what Jesus accomplished in the first century. When it comes to what one must believe in order to be saved according to the Scriptures, nothing else is needed but the Bible. Biblically speaking “the Son is God” is meaningless. Those lifting “the Son is God” up as true didn’t take Jesus at His word, and this is not something to be taken lightly. If you get Jesus wrong, you cannot blame the Bible. The Bible is faultless, and it clearly establishes Jesus ascending to His God and Father. In John 20:17 (NKJV) Jesus said, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” You can trust the Biblical account of who Jesus is, which proves “the Son is God” is meaningless, because the Bible is faultless. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Give Thanks To God

When you believe something you’ve been taught is true, but are unaware that its actually false, is to do so out of ignorance. When you continue to believe in something that has been proven to be false, in this case “the Son is God,” is to do so with the knowledge of it being false. Biblically speaking we know Jesus ascended to His God and Father, because in John 20:17 (NKJV) Jesus said “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” Taking Jesus at His word (John 20:17), would you say the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God” has been proven to be false? I would. Having faith in God, while striving to be right by Jesus, I give thanks to God. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Do You Know Him?

The Bible must remain stable at all times. We’re called to spread the gospel, as laid out for us in the Scriptures. Throughout time, believers in Christ Jesus have gathered to discuss the Bible. Unfortunately, in some cases, they walk away forgetting the significance of Him crucified. They don’t forget about their own sins being forgiven, no, I’m not saying that at all, but rather they treat Jesus as if they don’t truly know Him. When you lift up a falsehood as true, in this case “the Son is God” and Jesus being the same, you’re openly admitting to not knowing who Jesus truly is. Jesus ascended to His God and Father, and it’s Biblically impossible to prove otherwise. The Biblically correct thing to do, for those confessing Jesus is the Son of God, saved according to the Scriptures, is to embrace the stability of our own salvation. Don’t separate yourself from the truth in the Bible, because there’s no doubt about it, Jesus ascended to His God and Father. There’s no answer for “The Son is God,” except that it contradicts Jesus ascending to His God and Father. Jesus said, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God” in John 20:17 (NKJV). This same Jesus, do you know Him? Do you truly know Him? I pray God that you do. God bless. From First Coming To Second Coming

When Jesus comes again, and He will, prophecies will be fulfilled. Prior to this event, in the first century, because the word of God endures forever, this same Jesus ascended to His God and Father (John 20:17). God bless. In His Care… Jim

Jesus Said

When you think about the length of time from the beginning of Jesus’s ministry here on earth at about 30 years of age (Luke 3:23 NKJV) up to His ascension into heaven (Acts 1:9—11 NKJV), how short it was, compared to the amount of time it took to complete writing the entire Biblical story. Jesus’s ministry lasted roughly three and a half years but the writing of the Bible took much much longer. I pray God that from it all you understand the significance of the words “Jesus said” in the Bible. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Believe That Jesus Is The Son Of God

I was told “to deny Jesus is God brings eternal damnation.” Let me ask you, is not something wrong with that? Of course there is. It’s not in the Bible. In John 20:17 (NKJV) Jesus said, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” Here’s something else I was told, concerning John 20:17, “that verse cannot be used to deny that Jesus is God, especially since it is in the Gospel of John were John repeatedly said that Jesus is God.” Why anyone would even think or say such a thing, is mindboggling. You can take Jesus at His word here (John 20:17), He ascended to His God and Father. It is false to believe “to deny Jesus is God brings eternal damnation.” Here’s the problem with saying false things about Jesus. In this case “to deny Jesus is God brings eternal damnation.” In order to teach any falsehood as true, one must first believe that the falsehood is true. How then does one get to that point? It’s simple, they just don’t know the whole truth concerning the matter. When it comes to what one must believe in order to be saved according to the Scriptures, there’s no room for error. It’s not complicated. Just as Jesus is the centerpiece of God’s plan of salvation, He must be the centerpiece of our daily lives as well. Call on Jesus’s name. “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 (NKJV) Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:5 (NKJV) Having access to a lot of feedback from my John 20:17 question, and with my latest book Jesus’s God And Father: One God And Father Of All, and God as a witness, I can safely say it is a serious problem for those believing “the Son is God,” that Jesus ascended to His God and Father. I’m hopeful that followers of the Anthanasian Creed believe Jesus is the Son of God. My prayer is that they come to know that believing Jesus is the Son of God alone secures their salvation. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Back And Forth Over John 20:17

I heard someone who was promoting a book on the local “Christian” radio station. I’m not going to give the title of the book, because it would reveal who the author is. It was the title of the book that led me to search for contact information for this individual. I sent them the John 20:17 question. After reading John 20:17 (NKJV)), would you say Jesus’s God and Father and your God and Father are one and the same? Here’s the beginning of their response to this question: “Good question. The answer is yes, but with clarifications. First, it does not mean that we are God like Jesus is God. He alone is the God-Man. No other man has been or ever will be God or a god, contrary to what Mormons and others say. Next, I agree with what most evangelical theologians say about John 20:17.” These so called “clarifications” were related to “the Son is God” the “Trinity,” and according to this individual, “This is what Jesus had in mind when he spoke to Mary Magdalene in John 20:17.” Here’s my reply: I was happy to read your response “yes,” because it’s absolutely Biblically correct. You “agree with what most evangelical theologians say about John 20:17.” I don’t. I’m not going to interpret what Jesus had in mind when he spoke to Mary Magdalene. I’m going to take Him at His word. After exchanging a few more e-mails back and forth I received: “Please read my book before you send another email. And remember John 8:24.” Here’s my reply: My salvation has absolutely nothing to do with your book. I don’t care whether others believe what I believe. I care whether they believe what the Bible says. Your message isn’t about the Biblical Jesus. There’s a zero percent chance of finding the Biblical Jesus, in the works of those leaning on a misguided view of who Jesus is. I’ve sent this question to many: Would you say the person confessing Jesus is the Son of God, the Lord and the Savior of their life, saved according to the Scriptures, and rejects the Anthanasian Creed altogether, is saved? When I say “rejects the Anthanasian Creed altogether” I mean, treat the Anthanasian Creed as if it never existed at all. As one who loves Jesus, and who’s not ashamed to tell others about Him, I would say the person is saved. Using whatever material is available to you, prove that I’m wrong. Find Jesus, the Biblical Jesus. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Right With God

You’re not speaking ill of Jesus’s teachings when rejecting “the Son is God,” but rather agreeing with them. Speaking ill of Jesus’s teachings doesn’t change the meaning of them one bit. The Bible speaks well of Jesus, and doesn’t support “the Son is God.” Being right by Jesus, makes us right with God, Jesus’s God, and Father. God bless. In His Care… Jim

For Those Teaching Jesus Is God

For those teaching Jesus is God, your message isn’t about the Biblical Jesus. You must first have to agree with falsehoods being said about Jesus, in order to make your case, then treat the Bible as hearsay at best. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Don't Believe It

I understand how difficult it would be to hear/read that Jesus is not God, for those being taught to believe Jesus is God. I will always point people back to the Scriptures, specifically to things Jesus said concerning the matter. In John 20:17 (NKJV) Jesus said, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” Therefore, if it’s saying Jesus is God don’t believe it, because it contradicts the fact of Jesus ascending to His God and Father (John 20:17). It doesn’t matter the angle a person takes, when making Jesus out to be God, the Bible will prove it to be false. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Stand On The Word Of God

When it comes to describing Jesus, everything must stand on the word of God. What good is it if it contradicts the Scriptures? There is no Biblical support for “the Son is God” which only came to exist with the Anthanasian Creed. Biblically speaking, that is according to the Scriptures, describing “the Son is God” as anything else but heretical doctrine is unacceptable. According to the Scriptures, Jesus is the Son of God, and He ascended to His God and Father. It is biblically impossible to prove otherwise. That alone should cause you to stay clear of the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God,” and to stand on the word of God. The rest is between you and the all-knowing God of the Bible, Jesus’s God, and Father. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Gospel Preached

And when John had heard in prison about the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples and said to Him, “Are You the coming One,or do we look for another?” Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see: The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.” Matthew 11:2—6 (NKJV) Having access to the Bible today, we can read all about the things which these two disciples of John heard and saw back then. When I find the words in the Bible “Jesus answered and said to them,” “Jesus said,” “Most assuredly, I say to you,” or “I am,” they establish Jesus as the speaker in the Bible, and I know it leads to the “gospel preached.” Take the words “Jesus said” and “I am” in John 20:17 (NKJV) for example. Here you’ll find the words, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” I know this is “gospel peached” by Jesus “I am,” because Jesus said to her (Mary Magdalene), “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God’” in John 20:17 (NKJV). In this verse “go to My brethren and say to them” shows that Jesus wanted His “brethren” to know the “gospel preached.” After hearing /reading Jesus’s “gospel preached” message meant for His “brethren” back then, as laid out for us in John 20:17, would you say Jesus’s God and Father and your God and Father are the same today? I would. There’s no reason to believe that Jesus is God, because the “gospel preached” by Jesus has Him ascending to His God, and Father. Imagine that, from just “Jesus said” and “I am” in John 20:17 “gospel preached,” can contradict “the Son is God.” It never should have made its way into this century. God bless. In His Care… Jim

With A Heart For Jesus

To believe in Christ Jesus, is key to one’s purpose here on earth, and their eternal destiny. It is safe to make Jesus the message of all your teachings, as laid out for us in the Bible. Followers of Christ Jesus today should speak about Jesus, with a heart for Jesus. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Search For Yourself

Search the creeds/doctrines of men for yourself. If you should find reason to believe that Jesus is God in them, or believe it’s so because you’ve been taught that it is true, know that according to the Scriptures, nothing could be further from the truth. It is absolutely true, Jesus ascended to His God and Father (John 20:17). God bless. In His Care… Jim

It's Just Not True

It’s so important that we know/trust the Biblical account of who Jesus is. False teachers are really good at understating the Bible to the point of steering born again believers in Christ to believing in false doctrine. Teaching nonentities as truths, in this case unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved,” demonstrates man’s understanding of the Scriptures can’t always be trusted. In John 20:17 (NKJV) Jesus said, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” What else could Jesus be saying in John 20:17 but that He’s not only ascending to His God and Father, but to His brethren’s God and Father as well. Taking it one step further the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God,” it's just not true. God bless. In His Care… Jim

From Scriptures We Know

No one is eternally separated from Christ Jesus for knowing/believing “the Son is God” is false. Making “the Son is God” believable solely belongs to those expecting it to be true. From Scriptures we know that Jesus is the Son of God. Believe it and trust that it’s true. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:5 (NKJV) God bless. In His Care… Jim

Inscribed In The Bible

The last sentence of the Anthanasian Creed clearly establishes that unless a person “faithfully” believes everything inscribed in the Anthanasian Creed, which certainly includes “the Son is God,” they “cannot be saved.” Knowing Jesus said “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God” in John 20:17 (NKJV), would you say salvation is defined by means of the Anthanasian Creed? I wouldn’t, because “the Son is God” defies Jesus’s teachings, as written, inscribed in the Bible. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Give Thanks To God

Hearing things about Jesus not being God, shouldn’t prevent followers of Christ Jesus from doing the right thing, to give thanks to God. It’s the right thing, because Jesus’s God and Father and their God and Father are one and the same (John 20:17). God bless. In His Care… Jim
