“We give
thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,”
Colossians 1:3 (NKJV)
In
the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greeting.
While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I
heard, “God’s word is perfect and complete.”
Before I move on, let me say this.
I’ve been working on a piece for about four days now. I pray God, it makes its way onto this blog
soon. It has gone from two and a half
pages in length, to what is now less than one page. On two occasions I thought it was ready to
post, but obviously praying God’s will be done and not mine has led me to this
point.
After hearing what the speaker on the radio had to say about
God’s word, it being “perfect and complete,” I looked up to the heavens, and
asked, “What’s the [Biblical] way to describe that?”
Then Jesus said to them, “When you
lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing
of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things.” John 8:28 (NKJV)
When Jesus spoke “these things” His Father taught
Him, He wasn’t giving an interpretation of them.
I pray that is as helpful to you, as it was for me. I gave God thanks, for it.
God bless.
In His Care… Jim
