“That the God
of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit of
wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.” Ephesians 1:17 (NKJV)
In
the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.
The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
As it is written in the Prophets: “Behold I send My messenger before Your face,
who will prepare Your way before You.”
Mark 1:1-2 (NKJV)
This verse is referring to the one John the Dunker “Baptist”
prepared the way for, “who will prepare Your way before You (Mark 1:2).”
While listening to the local “Christian”
radio station I heard, referring to this verse, “This someone that would come
is God. Jesus is God.” The speaker on the radio then went on to say
“Mark knew Jesus was God.”
The speaker announced that he was going to begin reading at
Mark 1:1. I was riding in my car at the time. I knew I was going to hear scriptures that
should have kept the speaker from saying “Mark knew Jesus was God” because
Mark is telling us “Jesus Christ” [is] “the Son of God (Mark 1:1).”
I was [anxiously] waiting to hear this
speaker’s explanation.
I heard the speaker say “The beginning of the gospel of
Jesus Christ” but not, “the Son of God.” The speaker leaped right over the words “the
Son of God,” as if these words didn’t exist in Mark 1:1.
The speaker is a follower of the Anthanasian Creed. To the follower of that creed, speaking on
behalf of those mentioned in the [Bible] is the norm. In this case the speaker is stating “Mark
knew Jesus was God.”
I don’t know what version of the [Bible] the speaker was
using, where the words “the Son of God” wouldn’t be found in Mark
1:1. I do know the speaker will find no
[Biblical] evidence that “Mark knew Jesus was God.”
Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him,
and he in God. 1 John 4:15
(NKJV)
It is my obligation to tell you 1 John 4:15 and “The
beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God (Mark 1:1)” come
with a 100% guarantee, “Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God
abides in him, and he in God.”
God bless.
In His Care… Jim
