Inaccurate Translation?

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.” Ephesians 1:3 (NKJV)

In the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.

Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” Revelation 11:15 (NKJV)

While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard, “Most scholars believe this is an inaccurate translation, the kingdoms of this world.”  The speaker then went on to say, “The text should read the kingdom of this world.”

The speaker on the radio is a follower of the Anthanasian Creed.  Not saying “most scholars believe this is an inaccurate translation” is the safest thing a follower of that creed could do, besides throwing the Anthanasian Creed in the nearest trash bin.  The inspired word of God cannot change and saying it’s not trustworthy as is, I wouldn’t do that if I were you.

When it comes to teaching [Biblical] truths, what “most scholars believe,” is unacceptable.

God bless.
In His Care… Jim
