of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit of
wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.” Ephesians 1:17 (NKJV)
In
the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.
“Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince,
rebuke, exhort, with all long-suffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine,
but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will
heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the
truth, and be turned aside to fables. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an
evangelist, fulfill your ministry.” 2 Timothy 4:2-5 (NKJV)
If you believe “Preach the word! Be ready in season and
out of season” includes preaching God’s plan of salvation in truth, then don’t
lead people into believing your understanding of it. The inspired word of God is more than
sufficient enough as is. It warns us of
a time such as this “when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according
to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for
themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth.”
These verses are sound [Biblical] advice, “be watchful in
all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your
ministry, and “Preach the
word” of God in truth.
