Can You Prove it Using Scripture Alone?

“We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you.” Colossians 1:3 (NKJV)

In the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.  1 John 4:15 (NKJV)

As you can see 1 John 4:15 is plain, simple, and easy to understand.  “Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.”

Don’t make the mistake of believing Jesus “the Son of God” and the Anthanasian Creeds “the Son is God” are one and the same.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  Believing 1 John 4:15 is sufficient enough as it is.  It will keep you from having to search through the writings of those not mentioned in the [Bible], where followers of the Anthanasian Creed say the evidence of “the Son is God” is found.

If you believe both “Jesus is the Son of God” and Jesus is “the Son is God” can you justify this using scriptures alone?  What verse of [Scripture] links 1 John 4:15, to the Anthanasian Creeds having to believe [or else] “the Son is God” to be saved?
