“Blessed be
the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant
mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus
Christ from the dead.” 1 Peter 1:3 (NKJV)
In
the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.
While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I
heard, “Especially for us who are Christians, we’re going against the flow.” The speaker on the radio is a follower of the
Anthanasian Creed.
The speaker’s message was to trust God, and do not fear. “We’re going against the flow,” is referring
to those that have chosen to trust, and believe in, Jesus Christ.
I don’t know about you but if “the flow” includes having to
believe [or else] what surfaced and became doctrine of the Catholic Church in
325-AD the Anthanasian Creed, to be saved, I’m going against it. Just to set the record straight, I’m not
forcing anyone to do the same. It is
my obligation to tell you the Anthanasian Creed does not, and will never, “flow”
in the direction of God’s plan of salvation.
“Let not your heart be troubled; you
believe in God, believe also in Me.
In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told
you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I
will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be
also.” John 14:1-3 (NKJV)
God’s plan of salvation leads everyone to the same place,
and it’s not where the Anthanasian Creed leads. That place is Messiah Yeshua’s shed blood on the
cross. If you’re “flowing” with the
events leading up to and including Yeshua’s death burial and resurrection, which
is to say walking according to the [Scriptures], fear not, Jesus is
preparing a place for you (John 14:1-3).
The Anthanasian Creed, it’s perishing.
God bless.
In His Care… Jim
