Take Jesus Seriously

Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?  1 John 5:5 (NKJV)

In the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.

“And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, ‘These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass:’” Revelation 2:18 (NKJV)

Those that don’t take Jesus seriously are willing to believe anything, even to the point of making false accusations about Jesus.  The follower of the Anthanasian Creed for example says Jesus claims to be God in the [Scriptures] when we can see here that Jesus wants “the church in Thyatira” to believe He is, “the Son of God.”

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.  1 John 4:15 (NKJV)

As you can see the person confessing “Jesus is the Son of God,” is right with God.  So what role does the Anthanasian Creed play in God’s plan of salvation?  Other than the [Bible] exposing it a false doctrine, absolutely nothing.

It is my obligation to tell you to take “the Son of God,” Jesus, seriously.
