“Blessed be
the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every
spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.” Ephesians 1:3 (NKJV)
In
the name of Him who was given all authority in heaven and on earth, Messiah
Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings. Matthew 28:18 (NKJV)
“I will not execute the fierceness
of My anger; I will not again destroy Ephraim. For I am God, and not man, the Holy one in your midst; and I
will not come with terror.” Hosea 11:9 (NKJV)
While listening to the local “Christian’ radio station I
heard, “God has come and became a man.”
The speaker on the radio is a follower of the Anthanasian Creed. Knowing the God of the [Bible] knows hears
and sees all things, and cannot lie, I’d stay clear of the Anthanasian
Creed, if I were you. As you can see the
speaker’s “God has come and became a man” contradicts “For I am God, and not
man,” Hosea 11:9. The Anthanasian
Creeds “the Son is God” is a
must have for the follower of that creed, even at the expense of [Biblical]
truths.
The speaker went on to say “God who eternally existed with
the Father.” This implies “God” and “the
Father” are not one and the same.
“That the God
of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit
of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.” Ephesians 1:17 (NKJV)
Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have
not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am
ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV)
According to Ephesians 1:17 “the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory” and John 20:17 “My God,”
Jesus’ God is “the Father of
glory” God. Don’t mistake the
Anthanasian Creeds “the Son is
God” for the all-knowing God of the [Bible].
You’ll say things that contradict [Biblical] truths, if you do.
God bless.
In His Care…
Jim
