The Anthanasian Creed is Something Else

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” 1 Peter 1:3 (NKJV)

In the name of Him who makes us kings and priests to His God and Father, Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.  See Revelation 1:6 (NKJV)

A follower of the Anthanasian Creed was seeking the answer to this question, regarding what one has to believe to be a Christian, “Is it Jesus [and] something else?”  The speaker on the local “Christian” radio station then went on to say, “It is Jesus.”

I agree, to be a [Christian] true follower of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus” one must believe in Jesus.  Taking it one step further I’d say believe in Jesus, according to the [Scriptures].

So where does the Anthanasian Creed fit into the speaker’s statement?  Since there is no [Biblical] evidence to support it, it can only be “something else.”  I’ve known for quite some time that you can’t teach the Anthanasian Creeds [false] “method of salvation,” without adding onto what Jesus accomplished in the first century.  The Anthanasian Creed is “something else,” and has absolutely nothing to do with God’s plan of salvation.

For followers of the Anthanasian Creed, would you say to be a [Christian] true follower of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus” one must believe in Jesus according to “something else”?

God bless.
In His Care… Jim
