“We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
praying always for you.” Colossians 1:3 (NKJV)
In
the precious and beautiful name of the Faithful and True Witness, Messiah Yeshua
“Jesus,” greetings. See
Revelation 3:14 (NKJV)
If one is confessing Jesus is the Son of God, which to say
is saved according to the [Scriptures], it doesn’t matter where one stands with
the Anthanasian Creed.
I’ve sent the question below to many. If I gave you the names of those that I have
sent it to over the last three years, you’d recognize the majority of
them. To date I’ve only received one
[direct] answer to it. That answer was
“Yes, and no,” which really isn’t an answer at all.
Would you say the person confessing
Jesus is the Son of God, the Lord and the Savior of their life, saved according
to the [Scriptures], and rejecting the Anthanasian Creed altogether, is saved?
This question pits the Anthanasian Creed against the
inspired word of God, [Biblical] truths. The Anthanasian Creed guarantees that the
person rejecting it is not saved, when nothing could be further
from the truth. Don’t over think
this. There’s nothing more to the
question than meets the eye. Simply, the
person is either saved, or they’re not. I
say what Jesus accomplished in the first century matters and the Anthanasian
Creed does not. The person is saved.
God bless.
