Nothing Has Changed My Mind

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort.” 2 Corinthians 1:3 (NKJV)

In the precious and beautiful name of the Faithful and True Witness, Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.  See Revelation 3:14 (NKJV)

What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; and in this I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice.  Philippians 1:18 (NKJV)

Let’s make one thing clear from the get go.  I “will rejoice” at the mere mentioning of Jesus’ name but when what’s being said about Jesus, agrees with His teachings, I know the gospel of Jesus Christ is welcomed in this place.  Then I will know what I am hearing is supported by what He accomplished in the first century.

I’ve had [many] discussions where everything that was said in them agreed with Jesus’ teachings, and had nothing to do with the Anthanasian Creed.  Strangely enough the majority of these discussions were with followers of the Anthanasian Creed.  I’ve also heard that the Anthanasian Creed, when it became doctrine of the Catholic Church in 325-AD, wasn’t accepted by all “religious leaders.”  On this point I would agree.

I can safely say the Anthanasian Creed is not accepted by all those [believing] confessing Jesus is the Son of God, today.  As one who loves Jesus, and who’s not ashamed to tell others about Him, I reject the Anthanasian Creed altogether.

Would you say the person confessing Jesus is the Son of God, the Lord and the Savior of their life, saved according to the [Scriptures], and rejects the Anthanasian Creed altogether, is saved?

I’ve heard the story of how the Anthanasian Creed came to be, many times, and nothing has changed my mind.  The person,” is saved.

God bless.
In His Care… Jim
