Grace,
mercy, and truth will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus
Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. 2 John 3 (NKJV)
In
the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.
While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I
heard, “You’re almost 90% right when you answer Jesus in Sunday school.” My first thought after hearing this was, there’s
never a wrong time to be right about Jesus.
Almost 90% right of anything, especially when it concerns the salvation
of one’s soul, leaves slightly more than a 10% chance of you making a
mistake. The source of the information
you’re relying on could be 100% wrong to begin with. The speaker on the radio is a follower of the
Anthanasian Creed.
The Anthanasian Creed is not
a reliable source and if mixed with the all-knowing God of the [Bible’s] plan
of salvation, would be “almost 90% right.” Would that be acceptable to you? Would you be able to distinguish between the
“almost 90% right” and the slightly more than 10%?
As one who loves Jesus, and who’s not ashamed to tell others
about Him, I highly recommend staying clear of the Anthanasian Creed. It sells a false method of salvation that
says you must believe [or else] the doctrine of the trinity to be saved. It only exist because of the writings of
those not mentioned in the [Bible].
God’s plan of salvation comes with a 100% guarantee. All one has to do is remove the Anthanasian
Creed from the conversation altogether.
The [Bible] is more than sufficient enough as is, and
everything one needs to know about God’s plan of salvation is [found] in
it.
God bless.
In His Care… Jim
