Who
is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of
God? 1 John 5:5 (NKJV)
In
the name of the Son of the living God, Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.
See John 6:69 (NKJV)
While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I
heard about trusting God at all times and, “If you get this wrong you will
never have the faith that pleases God.”
There wasn’t a single mention of anything tied to the Anthanasian Creed
in the speaker’s message, so I was more than happy to agree with what the
speaker had to say about trusting God.
If you believe the Anthanasian Creed does not add onto
what Jesus accomplished in the first century however, I would not agree with that. It is possible for someone to quote [Scripture]
only to later, lift up the Anthanasian Creed.
Unlike God’s plan of salvation
where everything points to having to believe in Jesus Christ to be saved, the
Anthanasian Creed has them believing the doctrine of the trinity.
When you trust those believing the Anthanasian Creed, you won’t
see that the Anthanasian Creed adds onto what Jesus accomplished in the first
century. However, if you trust God and
thus the [Bible] alone, you are on your way to having “the faith that pleases
God.”
God bless.
In His Care… Jim
