Jesus Slept God Doesn't

“That you may with one mind and with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 15:6 (NKJV)

In the name of Him who was given all authority in heaven and on earth, Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings. See Matthew 28:18 (NKJV)

Now it happened, on a certain day, that He got into a boat with His disciples. And He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side of the lake.” And they launched out. But as they sailed He fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water, and were in jeopardy. And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm. Luke 8:22-24 (NKJV)

Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.  Psalms 121:4 (NKJV)

“And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, ‘These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass:’” Revelation 2:18 (NKJV)

The God of “Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.”  The Son of God,” Jesus, “He fell asleep” in “a boat.”  Anyone saying the Anthanasian Creed is sound doctrine, can’t teach that Jesus “fell asleep” in “a boat.”

Jesus slept, God doesn’t.

God bless.
In His Care… Jim
