Be Right About Jesus

While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard, “One of the church fathers, a man by the name of Athanasius, was a champion for the doctrine of the deity of Jesus Christ.” The speaker on the radio, isn’t telling it like it is. Yes, Athanasius’ name is [directly] linked to the doctrine of the trinity [birthed in 325-AD], the Anthanasian Creed, but the story doesn’t end there. The Anthanasian Creeds false method of salvation, is where one’s focus should be. It states, unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved.” This false method of salvation [actually] supplants what Jesus accomplished in the first century. I’ve come to know, by the grace of God, the significance of my believing Jesus is the Son of God, that is saved according to the Scriptures. I’ve yet to find anything in the Bible, nor do I expect to, saying I’m wrong. If someone asked me to consider the Anthanasian Creeds “the Son is God,” whether they’re entrenched in the doctrine of the trinity or not, they are going to hear about the events leading up to and including, Jesus’ death burial and resurrection. Athanasius [in 325-AD] “was a champion for” the doctrine of the trinity. The truth of the matter is, the Anthanasian Creeds method of salvation conflicts with everything [Biblically] right about Jesus.
