My Salvation

“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17 (NKJV) Some, such as supporters of the Anthanasian Creed, have selective hearing, as demonstrated by not pursuing Jesus’ teachings at all times. Don’t let your mind wander to far here, because having to believe “the Son is God” to be saved will always be, contrary to Jesus’ teachings. Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV) When I read the words “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God” in John 20:17, it’s as if I’m actually hearing Jesus saying them. This in of itself, because Jesus’ God and Father and my God and Father [are] one and the same, keeps me from ever having to pursue “the Son is God” for my salvation. God bless. In His Care… Jim
