Just One Step Away
Atheists question the legitimacy of the Bible. The teachings of believers stating the Bible is the inspired word of God aren’t taken seriously by Atheist. You’d think followers of Jesus today who cling to the Bible wouldn’t give reason to question its legitimacy, but it has been going on for quite some time now. I’m not saying Atheist are well aware of what’s going on here. They wouldn’t know the Anthanasian Creed shouldn’t have made its way into this century. I’m talking about those knowing better than to disrespect Jesus’s teachings and up till now, still teaching a falsehood as true.
Whether you believe it or not the Bible is the inspired word of God, and the home of Jesus’s teachings. The problem here is the Anthanasian Creed.
There is no hope and no power in unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved,” because it is not true. Teaching this particular idea as true, is basically saying the Bible can’t be trusted from this point on. Any attempt to link the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God” to the biblical Jesus, makes Jesus out to be a liar. If you’re going to link Jesus to anything, look at how it aligns with the Scriptures. People can say think whatever they like about the Bible but if their teachings don’t align with Jesus’s teachings, they should not be trusted. Certain religious leaders of that time, among others, treated Jesus’s teachings as questionable at best, and they said things about Jesus that weren’t true. It’s well documented in the Bible. I know the Bible well enough to know that Jesus has done nothing wrong.
For the one believing “the Son is God” that is the Anthanasian Creed’s false method of salvation, you’re just one step away from being absolutely right by Jesus. They simply need to drop “the Son is God,” which is to say the doctrine of the “Trinity.” It’s questionable at best, not only during the age of its birth in AD 325, but always.
God bless.
In His Care… Jim
