The Truth Is My Shield

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:4-5 (NKJV) There’s no reason for me to believe Jesus and the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God” are one and the same. For by faith in Christ alone, I believe and confess “that Jesus is the Son of God.” People are free to say, do, and believe, whatever they like, but it’s good to know the word of God endures forever. Having had my eyes opened to the truth as to who Jesus is, by the grace of God, the truth is my shield. God bless. In His Care… Jim
