Confessing

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” 1 Peter 1:3 (NKJV) If you have never, ever, believed that Jesus is the Son of God, I pray God you consider doing so. Confessing Jesus is the Son of God means you are saved according to the Scriptures (1 John 4:15). The cares of this world take you as far away from salvation as one could possibly be. Outside of believing in Jesus, as laid out for us in the Scriptures, there is no salvation. If you just confessed Jesus is the Son of God, you are saved according to the Scriptures. Praise God! You are no longer a slave to the cares of this world. Now, give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
