Seated At The Father's Right Hand
Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV)
Do you believe that Jesus suffered for our salvation, He arose from the dead, and He ascended to heaven and is seated at the Father’s right hand? I do, because the Bible tells me so. Would you continue to believe these things about Jesus, if I told you these same words are found within the Anthanasian Creed? I would, because the word of God endures forever.
The Anthanasian Creed is correct on some things about Jesus, but when all is said and done, it concludes that salvation has absolutely nothing to do with one having to believe in Jesus to be saved. Let’s take “He ascended to heaven and is seated at the Father’s right hand.” Who would you say is saying “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God” in John 20:17? Is it the Son of God, Jesus, who in fact “suffered for our salvation, He arose from the dead, and He ascended to” His God, and Father, or is it the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God”? I would say “the Son is God” has absolutely nothing to do with this. After reading John 20:17, do you see the fact that Jesus is seated at the right hand of His God, and Father? They are not one and the same.
God bless.

The God Of The Bible
Jesus’s teachings as laid out for in the Scriptures should be passed on to others, but we shouldn’t expect them to be well received by all. Yes, even by those that are close to us. Jesus said, “Do you suppose that I have come to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rather division. For from now on five in one house will be divided: three against two, and two against three. Father will be divided against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.” Luke 12:51—53 (NKJV)
The only thing that matters is if you believe in Jesus, as laid out for us in the Bible. If you do you will be saved. The word of God endures forever and should be taken very seriously. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Jesus’s God and Father, is in control. Those that put their trust in this same God, the God of the Bible, should know their labor will not be in vain.
God bless.

Find The Truth
If you’re going to ask a question about Jesus, you should know the correct answer will be found in the Bible. For example, would you say Jesus was born in Bethlehem? I would say yes, because the Bible obviously tells me so. How about making a wrong statement about Jesus, wouldn’t the Bible show it to be wrong? For example, saying Jesus is God. I would say Jesus is not God because the Bible tells me in John 20:17 (NKJV) “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God,” where Jesus speaks of ascending to His God, and Father.
It doesn’t matter how one speaks of, or questions Jesus, but the Bible will have the final say. You can always find the truth in the Bible.
God bless.

Through It All
I’ve had a number of interesting conversations about my latest book, Jesus’s God And Father: One God And Father Of All. One person read the book, and now they see what they’ve been taught to believe is in jeopardy. They asked me, “How could this happen?” I replied that I’m glad to see it upsets you. We talked for about twenty more minutes concerning the matter, and I walked away knowing this individual was eager to read the book for a second time.
A different person, in a well thought out manner, told me how “clearly the book lays everything out.” During the conversation that pursued with this individual, I didn’t have to explain a single thing.
The one thing I found most motivating came from a longtime childhood friend, who said, “It takes courage to do something like this.” I let them know that I’m well prepared and through it all I’ll give thanks to God. Let’s all strive to being right by Jesus.
God bless.

Jesus Ascended To His God And Father
I tell all of you with certainty, Jesus ascended to His God and Father. When you convey the gospel of Jesus Christ in truth, as laid out for us in the Bible, you will always be respecting what Jesus accomplished in the first century. When Jesus comes again, and He will, you want to be found believing in Him according to the Scriptures and not according to man’s interpretation of them.
God bless.

Keep One From Saying Jesus Is God
Recently online, I found someone listing ten reasons to believe Jesus is God. Not soon after this, someone else listed six reasons. It’s the same old story, of people not mentioned in the Bible believing that Jesus is claiming to be God in the Bible.
There’s one reason to keep from saying Jesus is God. That is, you’re making Jesus out to be a liar.
In John 20:17 (NKJV) you’ll find, Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’”
Knowing Jesus doesn’t lie, specifically when He said “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God” in John 20:17, is it not reason enough to keep one from saying Jesus is God? My answer would be a definite, yes!
God bless.

So Wonderful
The Jesus I’m talking about, is the Son of God. It is true, Jesus ascended to His God and Father. The realization of it is so wonderful, I pray God you recognize it as well.

Do You Avoid Using Jesus's Teachings?
If you believe the doctrine of the “Trinity” that is to say unless one “faithfully and firmly” believes “the Son is God” they “cannot be saved,” then can you tell me this? While teaching the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God” as true, do you avoid using Jesus’s teachings? I’m asking because “the Son is God” has nothing in common with Jesus, let alone the all-knowing God of the Bible. I know this to be true because the teachings of Jesus, as laid out for us in the Bible, are true.
God bless.

Whatsoever Jesus Said
Are the numerous translations of the Bible reason enough to say the Scriptures can’t be trusted these days? Are the words Jesus said not well-looked-after for all time? Using whatever translation of the Bible you prefer, or from the writings of those not mentioned in the Bible for that matter, how does one affirm Jesus today? I would say things being said, or written about Jesus today, should affirm the biblical Jesus. The word of God endures forever and what it tells us about Jesus is timeless.
God bless.

Aligning With The Word Of God
John 12:49-50 (NKJV) “For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.”
In these verses alone there are numerous places where it’s clear that God and the Son of God, are separate. Read these verses again and look for the distinction between God and Jesus.
I want those believing “the Son is God” to know that it’s the teachings of Jesus preventing “the Son is God” from aligning with the word of God.
To make it more personal, I don’t care whether others believe what I believe. I care whether they believe what the Bible says.
God bless.

Today
And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.” Luke 23:43 (NKJV)
Live today as the day “you shall be with” Jesus “in Paradise.” If you live to see another day, live it the same way. The Bible is the authority of how we’re to live our life, a sense of being right by Jesus.
God bless.

Who Jesus Is
Jesus cried out though nailed to the cross, saying, “My God, My God” in Matthew 27:46. In John 20:17, after Jesus’s death, burial and resurrection, He says “I am ascending to My God.” After Jesus ascended into heaven (Acts 1:9-11), He’s found in Revelation 3:12 saying the words “My God” four more times. After reading these things, would you say Jesus demonstrates time and again that He is the Son of God? Do you see anywhere here where Jesus exaggerates His status to be “the Son is God”? If Jesus is the subject matter, let the biblical account of who Jesus is be the theme.
God bless.
