The Acceptable Time

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV) If you believe Jesus is God, then can you tell me this? Why would Jesus say “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God” in John 20:17, and then go on to claim to be God elsewhere in the Scriptures? Jesus saying this should tell you something’s wrong with the way you’ve been taught. When will it be the acceptable time to say, Jesus’s God and Father and Jesus’s brethren’s God and Father are one and the same? God bless. In His Care… Jim
