They Just Don't Get It

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV) It’s the same old story, of the person that’s teaching “the Son is God” and Jesus are the same. They just don’t get it. It’s Jesus saying “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God” in John 20:17. The person that’s teaching that “the Son is God” and Jesus are the same, is standing under the authority of the Anthanasian Creed. I wouldn’t count on that. To do so would be to ignore Jesus’s teachings. I’d stay clear of the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God.” You can expect false doctrine to come from those that just don’t get it.
