Known By Jesus

In John 10:27 (NKJV) Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” In John 20:17 (NKJV), “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” After reading these words Jesus said, would you say the gospel proclaims “them” known by Jesus as “My sheep,” followers of Jesus, have the same God and Father as Jesus? I’ll continue proclaiming Jesus not only ascended to His God and Father, but to the God and Father of “them,” followers of Jesus as well. Just a thought, if supporters from AD 325 of what’s known to us today as the Anthanasian Creed could read this particular post for themselves, do you think they’d be proclaiming Jesus not only ascended to His God and Father, but to the God and Father of “them,” followers of Jesus as well?
