Standing At The Right Hand Of God
“No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6:44 (NKJV) Consider that, “No one can come to” Jesus “unless the Father who sent” Jesus “draws him.” We know that when Jesus speaks of “the Father,” He’s referring to His God and Father. So, what’s the big deal with Anthanasian Creed these days? Its declaration that unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved,” is proven to be false by the Scriptures. This demonstrates it cannot be tied to Jesus’s God and Father.
Putting Jesus in His right place is that He ascended to His God and Father. We know exactly how it is that Jesus was seen standing at the right hand of God (Acts 7:55 NKJV). He ascended to His God, and Father. In John 20:17 (NKJV) Jesus said, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.”
Therefore, in spite of what its followers have to say about it today, the Anthanasian Creed is the basis of falsehoods being taught as true.
God bless.
In His Care… Jim
