One Hundred Percent Of The Time
“He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.” Revelation 3:12 (NKJV)
We’re all prone to make mistakes, but when it comes to the Scriptures, the Bible warns us not to undermine them. For example, in Revelation 3:12 Jesus is speaking and we know that at this time He has already ascended to His God and Father. Therefore, the one looking to make “the Son is God” believable, would have to undermine Jesus’s use of the words “My God” in order for them to do so. Biblically speaking this individuals’ teachings on this shouldn’t be taken seriously.
In John 20:17 (NKJV) Jesus said, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to my God and your God.” Even though Jesus went on to say “My God” four more times in Revelation 3:12, that He said it just once in John 20:17 should be enough. Jesus ascended to His God and Father, and the Bible supports it one hundred percent of the time.
God bless.
In His Care… Jim
