Not The God Of The Bible

The mere thought of Jesus contradicting Himself in the Bible terrifies me. For Him to say something truthful about the God of the Bible, only then to say something false about Him, that’s not the Jesus of the Bible. In John 17:3 (NKJV) Jesus said, “And that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” I can safely say when Jesus said “You,” He spoke to God. “You” God, and He is “the only true God,” is Jesus’s God and Father. In John 20:17 (NKJV) this same Jesus said, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” Jesus ascended to “You” God, “the only true God,” Jesus’s God and Father. “The Son is God,” is not the God of the Bible.
