The good news of Christ Jesus is not to be established by man’s understanding of the Scriptures, but by the Scriptures themselves. The tale of the Athanasian Creed is a good example of man’s understanding. It would be foolish to believe “the Son is God,” because there isn’t any Biblical support for it.
