Having Called On His Name

The Bible is the perfect guideline as to how we’re to live our life. It should be our only source. Many today are so attentive to protecting their own beliefs, they lose sight of what the Bible says. They’re more interested in manipulating people for their own purpose, bent on advancing worldly views, than sharing the gospel with others. It would be good for believers in Christ Jesus today to focus on being like Jesus. When it looked like everything was going against Jesus, it turned out to be beneficial to His followers. Actually, everything Jesus accomplished in the first century served a purpose. You can be thankful that Jesus died on a cross for the sin of the world. It paved the way to salvation. Keep Jesus first, nothing else matters. When Christ Jesus comes again, and He will, He won’t be coming for an earthy institution called “church” but rather individuals having called on His name, saved according to the Scriptures.
