Mistakes Were Made

“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 (NKJV) Would you say this is vague? The person reading it for the very first time could be confused because it doesn’t mention who it’s referring to. The one who knows that it refers to Jesus wouldn’t be. This is just one example of trusting Scripture alone. “Religious” leaders have been gathering together throughout the centuries to decide what is or isn’t acceptable doctrine. Obviously, because the Anthanasian Creed made its way into this century, mistakes were made. How does one keep from making mistakes today when trusting “religious” leaders to get it right. We just make sure that what they’re saying is based on Scripture alone. If it requires man’s understanding of the Scriptures to make it so, it’s not Scripture alone. God bless. In His Care… Jim
