Born Of The Spirit

There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:1-3 (NKJV) Jesus then went on to say in John 3:8 (NKJV) to Nicodemus, “The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” A born-again spiritual rebirth is where Jesus comes to live in us. It doesn’t make us perfect or flawless person while still here on earth. It makes us a forgiven person. One that’s looking forward to being forever with Jesus in “the kingdom of God.” If you have yet to believe Jesus is the Son of God, I pray you consider doing so. Look at 1 John 5:5 (NKJV), “Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” Believing Jesus is the Son of God means for the one “born of the Spirit,” their sins forgiven and they are saved according to the Scriptures. God bless. In His Care… Jim
