The Outcome Of Jesus's Ascension

My trust in the God of the Bible goes beyond man’s understanding of the Scriptures. I won’t be satisfied with anything else but Scripture alone. You cannot change Jesus’s accomplishments in the first century, as laid out for us in the Scriptures. To do so would be an act of disobedience towards God. If you’re in a place where “the Son is God” is lifted up, you’re definitely in the wrong place. In John 20:17 (NKJV) Jesus said, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” It’s not a question as to whether or not Jesus ascended to His God and Father. There’s no actual evidence of Jesus claiming God in the Bible, it’s a fact. Are you willing to trust the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God,” when the outcome of Jesus’s ascension to His God and Father actually proves it to be false? I’m not going to trust it at all. When you have the Bible to back up what you’re saying, you can trust it to be helpful to others. God bless. In His Care… Jim
