“That the God of our Lord Jesus
Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation
in the knowledge of Him.” Ephesians 1:17 (NKJV)
In the precious and
beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.
While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard, “Don’t
use the bible to teach someone else’s truth.”
The speaker on the radio is a follower of the Anthanasian Creed. Nothing describes the follower of the
Anthanasian Creed better than a person that uses “the bible to teach someone
else’s truth.”
Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long,
and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He
who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the
Father’?” John 14:9 (NKJV)
“Not
that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen
the Father.” John 6:46 (NKJV)
Take John 14:9 for example, followers of the Anthanasian Creed say
its evidence of Jesus claiming to be God because Jesus said “He who
has seen Me has seen the Father.” I
ask you, did
not Jesus settle the matter when He said “Not that anyone has seen
the Father” in John 6:46. Jesus
isn’t claiming to be God in John 14:9, nor anywhere else in the [Scriptures]
for that matter.
So he shall be your spokesman
to the people. And he himself shall be as a mouth for you, and you shall be to him as God. Exodus 4:16 (NKJV)
God, who at various times and in
various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these
last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed
heir of all things, through whom He also made the worlds. Hebrews 1:1-2 (NKJV)
In Exodus 4:16 God is telling Moses that Aaron “shall be”
Moses’ “spokesman to the people.” Moses “shall be to” Aaron, “as God.” No one can be “as God” without being
God more than, Jesus. Who else can say
they’ve been “appointed” by God “heir of all things,” but Jesus.
There is absolutely nothing to gain by saying Jesus claimed to
be “God” in John 14:9. There’s
everything to gain by refusing to accept “someone else’s truth,” which
uses John 14:9 to say Jesus is God.
Obviously the modern day follower of the Anthanasian Creed continues
to follow those before them using “the bible to teach someone else’s truth,”
since 325-AD of course.
“But
you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are little among the
thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall come forth to Me the One to be Ruler in Israel, whose goings forth are from of old, from everlasting.” Therefore He shall give them up, until the time that
she who is in labor has given birth; then the remnant
of His brethren shall return to the children of Israel.
And He shall stand and feed His flock in the strength of the
Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord His God; and they shall abide, for now He shall be great to the ends of the
earth; and this One shall be
peace. Micah 5:2-5 (NKJV)
“Someone else’s truth” has the Anthanasian Creeds “the Son is God” in the same conversation
as the [Biblical] Jesus, “the One to be Ruler in Israel.”
The Anthanasian Creed has absolutely nothing to do with
Jesus feeding “His flock
in the strength of the Lord, in the
majesty of the name of the Lord His God.” One thing is for
sure, Micah’s God and Jesus’ God are one and the same.
The writers of the [Bible] weren’t making things up as they
went along. The events leading up to the
events themselves, Messiah Yeshua’s birth, death, burial and
resurrection are well documented in the [Bible]. The moment one strays from it, they’re heading
towards becoming victims of “someone else’s truth.”
Preach the gospel of Jesus Christ in truth, and leave the
rest to the all-knowing God of the [Bible].
Trust God!!
God bless.
In His Care… Jim
