“That the God
of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit of
wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.” Ephesians 1:17 (NKJV)
In
the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.
Now as Jesus passed by He saw a man
who was blind from birth. John 9:1
(NKJV)
And He said to him, “Go, wash in
the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, sent). So he went and washed, and
came back seeing. John 9:7 (NKJV)
But the Jews did not believe
concerning him, that he had been blind and received his sight, until they
called the parents of him who had received his sight. And they asked them, saying, “Is this your
son, who you say was born blind? How then does he now see?” His parents
answered them and said, “We know that this is our son, and that he was born
blind; but by what means he now sees we do not know, or who opened his eyes we
do not know. He is of age; ask him.
He will speak for himself.” His parents
said these things because they feared
the Jews, for the Jews had
agreed already that if anyone confesses that He is the Christ, he would be put out of the synagogue.
Therefore his parents said, “He is of
age; ask him.” John 9:18-23 (NKJV)
Jesus healed the blind man.
“The Jews had agreed already that if anyone confesses that” Jesus
“is the Christ, he would be put out of the synagogue.” The “parents” of him who now sees, “feared
the Jews.” “He is of age; ask
him. He will speak for himself,” the confession of him who now sees
hangs in the balance, on trial so to speak.
The issue here isn’t whether or not Jesus is the “Christ”
Messiah, He is. Nor is it with
the one that now sees, or his parents (John 9:1-23). It’s in the first century “The Jews had
agreed already that if anyone confesses that” Jesus “is the Christ, he
would be put out of the synagogue.”
Here we are just shy of two thousand years later, and people
are being forced to believe the doctrine of the “Trinity” to become a “member”
of the local “church.” Both of these
scare tactics have the fingerprints of “religious leaders” all over them, and
neither has anything to do with the salvation of one’s soul.
Would you say the person confessing Jesus is the Son of God,
the Lord and the Savior of their life, and rejects the Anthanasian Creed
altogether, is saved? I would. The Anthanasian Creed has absolutely nothing
to do with the salvation of one’s soul.
The doctrine of the “Trinity” is a byproduct of that creed.
“For God so loved the world that He
gave His only begotten Son, that whoever
believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 (NKJV)
People can say whatever they like about Messiah Yeshua “Jesus.”
They’ll soon find out that not everyone
agrees with what they have to say. When
it comes to the gospel of Jesus Christ however, the message remains the same
throughout. Jesus died on a cross for
the sin of the world, and “whoever believes in Him should not perish but
have everlasting life (John 3:16 NKJV).”
God bless.
In His Care… Jim
