“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope
through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” 1 Peter 1:3 (NKJV)
In
the name of Him who was given authority over all flesh Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,”
greetings. John 17:2 (NKJV)
It’s just shy of two thousand years, since Jesus died on a
cross for the sin of the world. Many
treat it as if it never happened at all.
They believe they need to conquer this world to receive a better life in
the hereafter is the way to go. They
reject everything Jesus accomplished in the first century. They have [totally] missed the mark.
Followers of the Anthanasian Creed need to consider the
facts. The [Bible] is the
inspired word of God. The Anthanasian
Creed is hearsay at best. The
Anthanasian Creed appears to have something to do with the [Bible], until you put
it up against the [Bible]. Simply, the
Anthanasian Creed treats God’s plan of salvation as if it doesn’t exist at all.
Now if Christ is preached that He
has been raised from the dead, how do some
among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? But
if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen. And
if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is dead and your faith is also empty.
Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God
that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up—if in fact the dead do not
rise. For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is
not risen, your faith is futile; you
are still in your sins! Then also those who have fallen asleep in
Christ have perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are all
of all men the most pitiable. But know Christ
is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who
have fallen asleep. 1 Corinthians 15:12-20 (NKJV)
Let me emphasize, “Some among
you say that there is no resurrection of the dead.” “But if there is no resurrection of the
dead, then Christ is not risen” and “you are still in your sins!” Thanks be to God, “Christ is risen from the
dead.”
“Therefore I said to you that you
will die in your sins; for if you do
not believe I am He, you will die in your sins.” John 8:24
(NKJV)
Then Jesus said to them, “When you
lift up the Son of Man, then
you will know that I am He,
and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these
things.” John 8:28 (NKJV)
Followers of the Anthanasian Creed believe Jesus claimed God
when He said “if you do not believe I am He, you will die in your sins”
in John 8:24. The Anthanasian Creed “the
Son is God” is a must have
for them. “When you lift up the Son
of Man” in John 8:28 proves them wrong.
“I am He” in John 8:24 and 8:28, is referring to “the Son of
Man.” Jesus is “the Son of Man.” If “the Son of Man” “is not risen,”
we “are still in” our “sins!”
Jesus is God’s provision for the sin in our life. The Anthanasian Creed, and thus the doctrine
of the “Trinity,” serves one purpose and one purpose alone. One has to believe it to become a “member” of
a local “church.”
“For God so loved the world that He
gave His only begotten Son, that whoever
believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 (NKJV)
“Whoever
believes in” Jesus, “the Son of Man,” will be saved.
God bless.
