Seeing
then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus
the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. Hebrews 4:14 (NKJV)
In
the name of the Son of the living God, Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.
See John 6:69 (NKJV)
When Jesus came into the region of
Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the
Son of Man, am?” So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and
others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say
that I am?” Simon Peter answered and
said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered
and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not
revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 16:13-17 (NKJV)
“Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the
Son of the living God.”
While listening to the local “Christian” radio station a
follower of the Anthanasian Creed said, that “Simon Peter” said, “I
believe you are the Messiah. I believe
you’re God in a human body.”
The Anthanasian Creeds way to salvation states that one
cannot be saved without it. This implies
that the [Bible] can’t be trusted. If this
quote “I believe you are the Messiah. I
believe you’re God in a human body” doesn’t twist Simon Peter’s response until
it’s false, I don’t know what does. The
Anthanasian Creed is the problem here, and “Simon Peter” had
absolutely nothing to do with it.
Nonbelievers in Messiah Yeshua “Jesus” are known for turning
their backs to [Biblical] truths. We
would expect that but what has the believing world come to when believers in
Messiah Yeshua “Jesus” add to and/or subtract from [Biblical] truths. In this case what’s causing the speaker to
believe that it is okay to add to and subtract from, what has been [clearly]
laid out for us in Matthew 16:13-17?
This individual didn’t mention that
“Simon Peter” actually said, “the Son of the living God.”
Instead the speaker rephrased what “Simon Peter” said
to be:
“I believe you’re God in a human
body.”
This is definitely not what Matthew 16:13-17 says.
If you’re going to associate “Simon Peter” to
something that is unimaginable for him to be part of, in this case the
Anthanasian Creeds false “method of salvation,” then it must be adding to
and/or subtracting from the [Bible].
I pray you spend time reading actual [Scripture] so that it
will live inside of you as the truth.
Then you too will be able to recognize when man adds or subtracts from
it. It is important to know and
understand God’s plan of salvation and to be able to distinguish it from mans.
God bless.
In His Care… Jim
