Grace,
mercy, and truth will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus
Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. 2 John 3 (NKJV)
In
the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.
While listening to the local “Christian” radio I often hear
speakers give good advice that they seem to not always follow. A recent example is a speaker that said,
“Maybe if you talk less and listen more you’ll learn what the right stuff is.” The speaker on the radio is a follower of the
Anthanasian Creed. Nothing has caused
more people to turn from [Biblical] truths to false teachings, than the
Anthanasian Creed.
What the speaker doesn’t say is who we should be listening
more to. I say the word of God.
The follower of the Anthanasian Creed can’t teach the
Anthanasian Creed properly, without first giving credit to those not mentioned
in the [Bible] who wrote it. Maybe if
they talk less and listen more, they’ll “learn what the right stuff is.”
Two people walk into a room, one carrying a [Bible] and the
other a copy of the Anthanasian Creed.
Which person doesn’t need what the other person carried into the room in
order to study the word of God? My
answer would be the person carrying the [Bible]. “The right stuff is” to treat the [Bible]
with respect, and stay clear of the Anthanasian Creed.
God bless.
In His Care… Jim
