See The Anthanasian Creed is Man-Made

Grace, mercy, and truth will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. 2 John 3 (NKJV)

In the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.

“Furthermore, it is necessary to everlasting salvation that he also believe faithfully the incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ. For the right faith is, that we believe and confess that our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is God and Man.” – the Anthanasian Creed

Recently on the local “Christian” radio station I heard, “The Holy Spirit is a person.  He’s everything Jesus is.”  The speaker on the radio is a follower of the Anthanasian Creed.

Because the Anthanasian Creed states the “Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is God and Man” the speaker wrongly extrapolated that the Holy Spirit is “God and Man.”  Is there any [Biblical] evidence to support this?  Do you want to have to “believe and confess” this?

“I will not execute the fierceness of My anger; I will not again destroy Ephraim. For I am God, and not man, the Holy one in your midst; and I will not come with terror.” Hosea 11:9 (NKJV)

My prayer is that you trust the [Bible] to be more than sufficient enough as is.  By claiming Hosea 11:9, where we find God saying “For I am God, and not man,” my prayer is that you see the Anthanasian Creed is man-made, not inspired.
