One Of Three Acceptable Answers
As one who loves God, Jesus’ God, and Jesus, greetings.
My battle is not against flesh and blood, nor earthly [denominational] institutions called church. Falsehoods within the Anthanasian Creed however, something that [actually] supersede God’s plan of salvation, is the battle.
If you believe in Jesus according to the Scriptures, we’ll both be on the right side of God’s plan of salvation. Trusting in what Jesus accomplished in the first century is far greater, concerning our salvation, than mistakes made by us in the past, present, and future.
So, to get a better understanding as to where one stands with Jesus, I [first] must hear/read their answer to the one question I have. There are three [acceptable] answers to the question, if one is looking to continue having a conversation [about Jesus] with me. 1) “Yes.” 2) “No.” 3) “I’m not prepared to answer the question at this time.”
Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV)
Here’s my question: After reading John 20:17, would you say Jesus’ God and Father and your God and Father are one and the same? Being in agreement with John 20:17, I know Jesus’ God and Father and my God and Father are one and the same.
God bless.
In His Care… Jim
