The Bible Is Reliable

I read in an e-mail written by a person I choose to remain nameless, “The doctrine of the Trinity is absolutely essential to New Testament Christianity. Theologians have pointed out that if it were not true, the Bible would be unreliable.” As one who loves God, Jesus’ God, and Jesus, I know these so called “theologians” are unreliable. The doctrine of the “Trinity,” that is unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved,” is all about nothing. This particular falsehood, clearly laid out for us in the Anthanasian Creed, unfortunately made its way into the twenty first century. The Anthanasian Creeds way of salvation, believe “the Son is God” or else, can’t be “essential to New Testament Christianity.” I’m pointing out that if the Anthanasian Creeds method of salvation is spot-on, the Bible would be unreliable.
