How Do I Get That?
I believe in Jesus and all He accomplished in the first century as laid out for us in the Scriptures. Have you been taught or told things about Jesus for so long, that you believe them even if they are not found in the Scriptures though? Folks can be attentive to things concerning Jesus today, but accepting everything said about Him as true, may not be wise. The last entry of the New Testament occurred near the end of the first century. If you think [for one second] that there hasn’t been false teachers discrediting the Bible floating around since then, you’d be greatly mistaken.
The Anthanasian Creed [actually] dismantles the Biblical explanation of God’s plan of salvation. How do I get that? The Bible doesn’t sanction “the Son is God.” As one who loves God, and Jesus, I know that if not for the Anthanasian Creed “the Son is God,” isn’t. Thus making, unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved” something birthed in 325-AD, and most definitely, false.
Have your mind set on [highly] respecting the Biblical explanation of what Jesus accomplished in the first century as laid out for us in the Scriptures. You cannot be more right.
In Christ Jesus,
Jim
