Being Confident

How many times have you met someone for the very first time and they introduced themselves to you as, false teacher? I don’t claim to know all things, but I’m going out on a limb here and saying, none. We’re all free to believe whatever we like, but I’m absolutely sure of one thing. “Those who are in the flesh cannot please God” Romans 8:8 (NKJV). False teachings, are not pleasing to God. I’m confident when telling others that Jesus ascended to His God and Father, not because I say it’s so, but rather because Jesus in John 20:17 (NKJV) said “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” I’m just as confident when telling others to stay clear of the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God.” Once again not because I say to do so, but rather because Biblically speaking “the Son is God” is meaningless. Jesus ascending to His God and Father is not only factual, it places “the Son is God” in a category as a once upon a time fairy tale. Unless you can prove Jesus to be wrong, in this case Him “ascending” to His God and Father in John 20:17, I’ll remain confident when saying “the Son is God” and Jesus are not the same. God bless. In His Care… Jim
