When warning others of the repercussions of teaching falsehoods as true, Pastors, Priests, and teachers should take precautionary measures to avoid teaching falsehoods as true themselves. First, unless it is laid out for us in the Scriptures, don’t believe everything you hear. Second is like it, unless it’s in the Scriptures, don’t believe everything you read.
