Pay No Attention To The Anthanasian Creed

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.” Ephesians 1:3 (NKJV) “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.” Ephesians 1:17 (NKJV) It will always be safe to say that from Ephesians 1:3 through to Ephesians 1:17, “the Son is God” cannot exist. “The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ” in Ephesians 1:3 and “the God of our Lord Jesus Christ” in Ephesians 1:17, are self-explanatory. For those continuing to lift up “the Son is God” today, they will have to set aside these verses, never to be looked at again. If the goal of teaching the Bible, from behind a pulpit, is to go line by line and verse by verse through the Scriptures, then pay no attention to the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God.” God bless. Not Understanding Its Purpose

The only way to salvation, God’s way of forgiving us, is to believe in Christ Jesus according to the Scriptures. The Bible is a book that is to be read and openly discussed amongst people from all walks of life, anywhere they should choose to gather. It is not to be tampered with. Folks have taken liberty to interpret Scripture wrongly for God knows how long. In some cases, they have taught it to others as a must have in their daily lives. It comes down to this, we must believe the Bible as written, especially the biblical account of who Jesus is. A person can say they’ve been reading the Bible their entire life but if they’re not trusting it as it is written, they’re not understanding its purpose. When someone is speaking words to you that don’t align with the Bible, there’s no better feeling than walking away from a conversation, knowing you did right by Jesus. God bless. In His Care… Jim

There Is No Such Place

Purgatory, who would invent such a place? There is heaven and there is hell. Your salvation hinges on your belief in Christ Jesus according to the Scriptures. You’re either saved according to the Scriptures, or you are not. There is no such place where those saved according to the Scriptures fall short of securing their salvation in heaven. There are not enough prayers, or money, to cover the penalty of sin. Only the blood of Jesus can. Stop trusting the tales of purgatory over the significance of the blood Jesus shed on a cross. God bless. In His Care… Jim

For The Very First Time

When you accept the fact that Jesus ascended to His God and Father, you’ll understand why the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God” has absolutely nothing to do with the biblical Jesus. In John 20:17 (NKJV) Jesus said, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” If one has read or heard “the Son is God” for the very first time, where should they go to find if it’s actually trustworthy or not? The Bible. I hope this makes those lifting up “the Son is God” today feel uncomfortable, because they’re the ones putting the honesty of Christ Jesus into question. “The Son is God” only came to exist with the Anthanasian Creed, not because there is Biblical support for it. It’s safe to say the Bible is absolutely trustworthy. “The Son is God” has nothing to do with the biblical Jesus. To be sure, the Son of God, Jesus, ascended to His God and Father. God bless. The Integrity Of The Bible

How easy it should be to keep from saying something false about Jesus. The only way to have a sermon full of truth is to check and double check that it upholds the integrity of the Bible. I’ve often heard that Jesus was a carpenter. I certainly haven’t spent as much time in the Bible as others have, but I have yet to find a single place in it where Jesus is actually engaged in an act of carpentry. Just saying! Likewise, any claim that there is actual evidence of Jesus claiming to be God in the Bible, will be proven to be false. In John 20:17 (NKJV) Jesus said, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” Biblically speaking, Jesus ascended to His God and Father. The way we think about the Bible, especially when desiring to uphold its integrity, will determine how we diligently seek truths found in it while keeping us from straying away from those truths. Find Jesus

Those investigating the validity of the Anthanasian Creed for themselves aren’t the problem. The Anthanasian Creed itself is the problem. It would be a mistake to take on the role of sharing it with others as believable. For those lifting “the Son is God” up today, the problems begin with there being no reference to “The Son is God” in the Bible. If the one believing it has yet to believe in Christ Jesus according to the Scriptures, the Anthanasian Creed’s method of salvation cannot save them. Seriously, does anyone really believe that the Bible shows the only way to salvation is by and through the Anthanasian Creed. You can’t teach the message that has been clearly laid out for us in this particular creed properly, and in its entirety, without saying unless one believes “the Son is God” they cannot be saved. This particular blog wouldn’t even be necessary today, if not for the Anthanasian Creed. Find Jesus. The biblical Jesus, and not man’s understanding of who He is. God bless. In His Care… Jim

No Title

If your relationship is too close to one that’s teaching “the Son is God” as believable, such that it keeps you from exposing it as a falsehood that’s been taught as true to them, your standard for what is right is not the Bible. It is biblically impossible to prove that the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God” and Jesus are the same.

There You May Be Also

In John 14:1-3 (NKJV) Jesus said, “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” I “believe in God,” Jesus’s God and Father. I “believe also in” Jesus. I pray God that you believe in Christ Jesus, that “there you may be also” when Jesus comes to take those who are saved according to the Scriptures. He will take them home to a place prepared for them by none other than Christ Jesus Himself. Amen. God bless. In His Care… Jim

You're Only Making Matters Worse

If you’re teaching that “the Son is God” and Jesus are the same, you’re not helping anyone within hearing distance of your voice, let alone yourself. If you’re encouraging those teaching them as being the same to continue doing so, you’re only making matters worse. If you are someone who confesses that Jesus is the Son of God to everyone you meet, saved according to the Scriptures, would you go see someone who believes “the Son is God,” with the hope of changing their ways by openly speaking against the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God?” Would you seek help from someone who teaches “the Son is God” as true, if you knew it had absolutely nothing to do with Jesus? It’s the Anthanasian Creed that states: unless one believes “the Son is God” they cannot be saved. Stop treating the doctrines of men, as a means to understand who Jesus is. God bless. False Doctrines Should Be Taught As Being False Doctrine

For the ones who are yet to stand on Scripture alone, they’ll never handle false doctrines properly without making a change in their life. We’re not born as Bible carrying believers in Christ Jesus. False doctrines should be taught as being false doctrine. In John 8:54—55 (NKJV) Jesus said, “If I honor Myself, My honor is nothing. It is My Father who honors Me, of whom you say that He is your God. Yet you have not known Him, but I know Him. And if I say, ‘I do not know Him,’ I shall be a liar like you; but I do know Him, and keep His word.” As we look at how some handle the Anthanasian Creed today, we’ll find that they make Jesus out to be a liar by teaching that creed’s “the Son is God” as believable. The Bible warns us to not teach falsehoods as true. In John 20:17 (NKJV) Jesus said, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” When Jesus said “but I know Him, and keep His word” in John 8:55, He’s referring to “My God” (John 20:17) His God and “My Father” (John 8:54) His Father. You won’t find Jesus contradicting Himself in the Bible. The Anthanasian Creed is false doctrine and not until one commits themself to stand on Scripture alone, will they see it that way. The Bible clearly shows, prior to Jesus’s second coming, Jesus ascended to His God and Father. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Once You've Seen It

All I have to show that “the Son is God” is false, is what has been clearly laid out for us in the Scriptures. Not man’s understanding of them, lest I stray from standing on Scripture alone. I wonder if that’s your story, that the Bible falls short of what you need to know about Jesus. In John 20:17 (NKJV) Jesus said, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” This single moment in time where Jesus called the God of the Bible “My God” His God, recorded in John 20:17, has guided me to adhere to Scripture alone. Simply, Jesus’s ascension to His God and Father is trustworthy. It is unthinkable to believe that “the Son is God” can be right for some, and not so for others, believing the Bible is silent concerning the matter. Nothing has caused more people to turn away from biblical truths to false teachings, than the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God.” Take a moment to think about Jesus calling the God of the Bible “My God” His God in the Bible. It’s not only available for all to see in the Bible but that once you’ve seen it, you cannot unsee it. Everything about Jesus is worth remembering, but only if it’s according to what has been clearly laid out for us in the Scriptures. God bless. In His Care… Jim

In The

In the Anthanasian Creed, “the Son is God.” In the Bible, Jesus said “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” John 20:17 (NKJV) In the Anthanasian Creed, unless one believes “the Son is God” they cannot be saved. In the Bible, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 (NKJV) The “Him” in John 3:16 is the same Jesus who says “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God” in John 20:17. Many have chosen to accept the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God” even when the Bible shows it to be unacceptable and contradictory. In the Bible, there’s every reason to believe Jesus ascended to His God and Father. There is no salvation without Jesus. “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 (NKJV) That name is Jesus. The Bible supports Jesus as God’s plan for salvation and that will always be better than relying on man’s understanding by putting your trust in “the Son is God.” “Nor is there salvation in any other,” includes “the Son is God.” In the Bible is where you will find all the evidence you need. Man's Tale Of The Anthanasian Creed

The Anthanasian Creed is not making disciples of Christ Jesus. It should not have made its way into this century. Its method of salvation, where unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved,” is an alternative to God’s plan of salvation that has Jesus as its centerpiece. It is biblically impossible for “the Son is God” and Jesus to be the same. This tale that professes that both of them are the same, began when the Anthanasian Creed introduced “the Son is God” to the world in AD 325. We know you can’t even begin to lift up the “the Son is God,” without first having to mention the tale of the Anthanasian Creed. Simply, unless man’s tale of the Anthanasian Creed is sovereign over all things, including Biblical truths, “the Son is God” isn’t. Biblically speaking “the Son is God,” is meaningless. God bless.
