“Blessed be
the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every
spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.” Ephesians 1:3 (NKJV)
In
the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.
“Whosoever will be saved, before
all things, it is necessary that he hold the catholic (i. e. , universal,
Christian) faith. Which faith except every one do keep whole and undefiled
without doubt he shall perish everlastingly.” The first two sentences of the
Anthanasian Creed.
“So the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Ghost is God. And yet they are
not three Gods, but one God.” The origin
of the doctrine of the “Trinity,” the Anthanasian Creed.
“This is the catholic (Christian)
faith; which except you believe faithfully and firmly, you cannot be saved.” The last sentence of the Anthanasian
Creed.
According to the Anthanasian Creed the person confessing
Jesus is the Son of
God, the Lord and the Savior of their life, and rejects the
Anthanasian Creed altogether, “cannot be saved.” Anything less would prove the Anthanasian
Creed to be a false doctrine, which is exactly what it is.
Anyone can say the Anthanasian Creed is [Biblically] sound,
but it doesn’t make it so. Actually
there’s only one way to teach the Anthanasian Creed, if you’re looking to handle
it properly that is. Begin by telling
the truth, saying, not a single person had to believe “the Son is God” prior
to its birth in 325-AD.
Jesus spoke these words, lifting up His eyes to heaven, and
said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may
glorify You, as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should
give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. And this is eternal life, that they may know
You, the only true God, and
Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” John 17:2-3 (NKJV)
Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to
Me, for I have not yet ascended to My
Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and
to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV)
You can say “Jesus” knows “My God” His God and
“My Father” Father is “the only true God” because it's [Biblically] impossible to prove otherwise.
It’ll be just as safe to say the Anthanasian Creeds “the
Son is God” isn’t [Biblically] sound, knowing the words “the Son is
God” aren’t in the [Bible].
If you have the [Bible] in one hand, the Anthanasian Creed
in the other, they couldn’t be any more different.
God bless.
In His Care… Jim
