Grace,
mercy, and truth will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus
Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. 2 John 3 (NKJV)
In
the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.
“For God so loved the world that He
gave His only begotten Son, that whoever
believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 (NKJV)
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6 (NKJV)
I know saying that there is only one way to heaven
doesn’t sit well with some people but as you can see the [Bible] is crystal
clear concerning the matter. The words found in what’s known to us today as
John 3:16 and John 14:6 are trustworthy as is, and will endure forever. Whoever believes in” Jesus will be
saved. Jesus is “the way, the truth,
and the life.” “No one comes to
the Father except through” Jesus.
This same Jesus is coming again and will be found on the
[Biblical] right side of God’s plan of salvation when He does. This is the only way to heaven. To say differently, is not the truth.
Joshua is just a few days older than his longtime friend Aaron. Their parents who knew nothing else but being
born again believers in Jesus, have known each other since grade school. Aaron and Joshua were inseparable throughout
their school years including countless times ministering the gospel of Jesus
Christ. Now two years have passed since
they last saw each other.
Aaron is in line to purchase a bus ticket. Joshua is heading straight towards the same
ticket booth. Ten others are waiting in
line to buy tickets as well, none of which know Aaron or Joshua. Aaron spots Joshua coming towards him.
Waiving his hand in the air, Aaron cries out, “Hey Joshua…over
here.”
Joshua waves to Aaron and very happy to see his friend gives
him a hug, “I heard you were heading this way.
Where are you off to this time?” Joshua’s excitement to see his longtime
friend was obvious to all in hearing distance.
Equally happy to see his friend Aaron replied, “Where the
harvest is ripe for the picking. I’m
heading to where the cherry blossoms bloom in the spring. How about you, what’s your next destination?”
With Aaron being next in line to purchase a ticket, Joshua
says, “The line isn’t getting any shorter and a Sue’s hamburger and fries is sounding
pretty good to me right about now. There’ll
be one waiting for you if you should choose to join me. I can’t wait to tell you what’s next in line for
me.” Sue’s Kitchen is the best fast food
restaurant in town.
“Sounds good to me,” said Aaron.
As they always did when going their separate ways as kids Aaron
and Joshua in unison, say, “HAVE A GREAT DAY IN CHRIST.”
Before Joshua could turn to walk away the person inside the
ticket booth said loud enough for anyone within 50 feet to hear, “We’ll have
none of that! Your religion is not welcomed
here.”
Not surprised [whatsoever] by it all Joshua turns to Aaron,
saying, “It’s time for us to pray.”
Pointing to an area about twenty feet away Aaron agrees,
saying, “There’s a good spot.”
As Aaron and Joshua walk away from the ticket booth three
people step out of the ticket line, shouting, “Your prayers aren’t welcomed
here either.”
Facing the three people and pointing to Joshua, Aaron says,
“We’re not going to deny Jesus which is exactly what you’re asking us to do. Do you hate Jesus that much?”
Those bent on silencing [Biblical] truths can’t be followers
of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” but it is not too late for them to change their ways. Simply, in God’s plan of salvation, Jesus is
coming again and looking forward to being with Him when He returns, should be priority
number one for everyone who believes.
God’s plan of salvation is available for all to see in the
[Bible]. I’ll give it to you straight
forward, whoever believes in Messiah Yeshua “Jesus” according to the
[Scriptures] will be saved.
Silencing/rejecting [Biblical] truths doesn’t make them null
and void, for those doing so. If you’re
[really] interested in the truth about heaven and Jesus, read the [Bible]. If you do you will realize most of what is
said about Jesus these days isn’t in the [Bible].
It is either in the [Bible] or it is not. Man’s understanding of the [Scriptures] are to
be treated as nothing more than hearsay at best, until you test them against
[Biblical] truths. Hold fast to what is
fully supported by the [Bible], regardless of who is protesting against it. Then jettison everything else in spite of who’s
teaching or promoting it. Only Jesus is “the
way, the truth, and the life.”
God bless.
In His Care… Jim
