Seeing then that we have a great High Priest
who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our
confession. Hebrews 4:14 (NKJV)
In the precious and beautiful name of Messiah
Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.
“How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How
you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! For you have said
in heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne
above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides
of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’” Isaiah 14:12-14 (NKJV)
Isaiah
14:12-14 is crystal clear, Satan a.k.a. “Lucifer” has this wild idea of
being just “like the Most High,” the all-knowing God of the
[Bible]. Satan also has “plans” to “sit
on the mount of the congregation.”
Simply, if it contradicts what has been clearly laid out for us in the [Bible],
God’s plan of salvation, stay clear of it. Satan will do whatever is necessary, to “exalt”
his “throne above the stars of God.”
While
listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard, “The bottom line is
this, do you live your life according to the word of God?” The speaker on the radio then went on to say,
speaking on behalf of the congregation before him, “We believe the Bible is
enough.” The speaker is a follower of
the Anthanasian Creed. The Anthanasian Creed for sure tops the
list of those things turning people away from [Biblical] truths. The belief systems of those not mentioned in
the [Bible] are a distant second.
People
shouldn’t say things like “the Bible is enough,” if they’re clinging to the
Anthanasian Creed. The Anthanasian Creed
claims the only way to salvation, and nothing could be further from the
truth. Not a single soul has been, can
be, nor ever will be, saved by believing the Anthanasian Creed. The Anthanasian Creed is a tool, not inspired,
and its followers are the ones left with having to answer for it.
“Blessed
are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called
sons of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for
theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:7-10 (NKJV)
So what would
it take to “live your life according to the word of God?” Reading the [Bible] is a good place to
start. Trusting it to be more than sufficient
enough as is, will sustain you.
Satan
doesn’t want a single one of us, ever, to trust the [Bible] to be more than
sufficient enough as is.
God bless.
In His Care…
