“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of
glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of
Him.” Ephesians 1:17 (NKJV)
In
the name of Him who did not come to destroy but to fulfill, Messiah Yeshua
“Jesus,” greetings. See Matthew 5:17-18 (NKJV)
While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I
heard, “God has given you people you can trust.” According to the speaker on the radio these
so called “people you can trust” do not “teach false doctrines.” The speaker is a follower of the Anthanasian
Creed. One should never say unless one
believes something one cannot be saved, while selling the Anthanasian Creed as
sound doctrine.
There’s a lot of crazy “stuff” being taught these days but
for one to say you can trust the Anthanasian Creed, is beyond
comprehension. Would you tell the person
that has confessed to be a sinner, cried out to Jesus to be the Lord and the
Savior of their life before the all-knowing God of the [Bible], they’re not
saved until they believe the Anthanasian Creed?
Think about that for a second. Do
you see how illogical that is?
“God has given you people you can trust,” you would think
that implies the one saying it can be trusted.
If they’re telling someone that they’re not saved unless they believe
the doctrine of the trinity, which is to say the Anthanasian Creed, they are a
follower of the Anthanasian Creed. You can’t
preach the gospel of Jesus Christ in truth, while teaching the Anthanasian
Creed as sound doctrine. That’s not
trustworthy.
The [Bible] and the Anthanasian Creed can be used together
for one purpose and one purpose only, proving the Anthanasian Creed to be false
doctrine.
Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” Jesus
answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.” John
6:28-29 (NKJV)
So what is
the bottom line? Who can you trust? “What shall we do, that we may work the
works of God,” “believe in” Jesus “whom” God “sent.” Trust the [Bible] to be more than sufficient
enough as is. The simplicity of God’s
plan of salvation is there for all to see.
Solely look to what Jesus accomplished in the first century, leading up
to and including His death on a cross.
Don’t
be fooled by those claiming the Anthanasian Creed is sound doctrine. Not a single soul has been, will be, or ever
could be saved by believing the Anthanasian Creed.
TRUST JESUS!
God bless.
In His Care… Jim
