“We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
praying always for you.” Colossians 1:3 (NKJV)
In
the name of He who when asked how many times do we forgive a brother said, ‘I
do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven,’ Messiah
Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings. See Matthew 18:21-22 (NKJV)
On the last day, that great day of the
feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him
come to Me and drink. He who believes
in Me, as the Scripture has
said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living waters.” But
this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive;
for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet
glorified. John 7:37-39 (NKJV)
While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I
heard, “The bible is perfect and God’s way is perfect.” I agree with the speaker on this point. Not until all peoples treat the [Bible] with the
respect that it is [trustworthy] sufficient as is, will we continue to make the
same mistakes over and over again.
A woman of Samaria came to draw
water. Jesus said to her, “Give Me a drink.” For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.
Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, “How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a
drink from me, a Samaritan woman?” For Jews had no dealings with Samaritans.
Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who
says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would of asked Him, and He would have given
you living water.”
The woman said to Him, “Sir, You
have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that
living water? Are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and
drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?” Jesus answered
and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever
drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that
I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into
everlasting life.” John 4:7-13 (NKJV)
And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on the face of the earth, and has determined their
preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that
they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us. Acts 17:26-27 (NKJV)
The Samaritan woman and Jesus’ disciples who “had gone
away into the city to buy food,” were all “made from one blood” by God
“to dwell on the face of the earth.”
The same holds true for all peoples of the world, today. The quality of the water we drink, differ
from one place to the next here on earth but whoever “believes in”
Jesus, “as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of
living waters.” Likewise our skin
color may differ, but our trust in Jesus makes us one.
Until we see everyone as “one blood,” we will allow
physical appearances to take precedence over God’s perfect plan for us. “Seek the Lord,” for “He is not far
from each one of us.”
“For God so loved the world that He
gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but
have everlasting life.” John 3:16 (NKJV)
God bless.
In His Care… Jim
